Anonymous said: Have you heard about the nu-Wally West? I'm pretty mad that DC did what they did and was wondering how you feel.

First I want to say that I have no problem with bi-racial characters in comics. Being mixed myself, I’m all for comics taking challenges. BUT, I do have a bit of a problem with DC changing Wally or any character for that matter. I mean, come on. Why not create a new Flash that’s bi-racial instead of changing Wally’s origins?? Example, John Stewart as Green Lantern. He’s not some wannabe black Hal Jordan. He’s his own Green Lantern with his own story. Or Miles Morales as Spider-Man in Marvel. These are characters created differently for different purposes. I really don’t see why DC couldn’t do that for Flash. I would’ve been all for it and really supportive. It would’ve made me look forward to something for once. But instead I’m sitting back shaking my head at another reason to be pissed off with this god forsaken company.

dc fans are a mix between red lanterns and blue lanterns - burning with blistering rage yet still filled with the hope that dc can’t fuck up any more than they already have

It’s so much easier to see the world in black and white. Grey? I don’t know what to do with grey.
